As today is March 8, I'd like to wish all members happy "International Women's Day" for all your mothers, wives, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and girlfriends!
  2. Extremely sure. In win7 I don't have this problem. The only solution I found so far is to boot with the installation CD of Windows 7, then stop installation and get into windows 8, keeping the DVD inserted. So I can see and use CD/DVD drive correctly. But after a restart and normal input operating system, the CD/DVD drive disappears like magic.
  3. unchecked that option, but no change, i still can't see or access the dvdwriter in "Computer" ..
  4. there is such an option? if so, why I see floppy disk?
  5. Cd/dvd drive not seen in "Computer" (maybe because I've installed WCP from USB), multiple messages of hard disk imminent failure, some applications not working in market, connection limited for my broadband connection, PC freezing while running maintenance service. Just when I started to get used with Metro... PS. I've sent some of them to MS with their Feedback Tool. Maybe will be useful ever.
  6. Hello, win8! Bye, win8! After 5 days and multiple bugs, decided to go back to win7.

    Source Code

I just saw the movie "Source Code". I have a stupid question: what would you change in your life at some point, something concrete that would definitely influence your future life? First watch the movie!
  10. Thanks for all advices! Starting today I am a user of Windows 64-bit
  11. Actually I wonder if with 4GB of RAM, a 64-bit Windows 7 is moving better than one 32-bit. And I think you gave me the answer. Thanks. Anyway that patch seemed very very interesting.
  12. Recently I increased my computer's RAM to 4GB DDR1. I wonder what it would be advisable to do: to go from 32-bit Windows 7 to Windows 7 64-bit or to stay on current OS (Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit) and use 4GB-RAMPatch-Multilingual-12.7.2010 to be recognized all 4GB? http://www.unawave.de/windows-7-tipps/32-bit-ram-barrier.html?lang=EN My computer specifications are: AMD Athlon 64 2200 MHz CPU and video adapter NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS (256 MB) on a 939A785GMH/128M ASRock motherboard. I have no idea. Has anyone tried this program?
