Go there and put in some bullsh*t details, then confirm your email and that page will take you to an MSDN subscriber page. You will get access to MULTIPLE MDSN ITEMS!!!!

I have signed up twice now, once with my usual live ID, and once with a BS one, but I don't have an ID number like you, how did you get that ?

And I found my free MSDN items Visual Studio 2010 SP1 being one of them, so longer than 3 years

Doubt it, not with this limited account - Normal accounts will get the Beta more than likely

Unfortunately I doubt it . If we don't have windows 7 I doubt we will get windows 8. More we will most likely get windows server 201x as we currently get access to server 2008 and server 2008 r2!

where can we download covers for them and the cd/dvd

so then its looks a bit legit
i have had a big hunt on net but cant find a dam thing.
all i got is beta 4 covers and dvd but dont have the tools to fix up where if i take out the trial as it will be white.
if i upload can somebody photo shop them thanks?

Yea, go here. Then tick "my products" on the left and go to Developer Tools > Visual Studio 2010. Then press download on the right of the one you want
