It's finally been announced! I've been waiting for this game for years and it's the whole reason I've been upgrading my PC lol, new GPU to replace my 8800GTS will be bought especially for this just before release, hopefully just as the Radeon 78xx series and Geforce GTX 6xx series get released!

Anyways, here's the teaser trailer!

WTF?! The video doesn't appear to be embedding now so here's a link to watch it on youtube:

Here's some wallpapers and twitter backgrounds for anyone that wants them as well.

I hope the gameplay is going to be more like Battlefield 2 and less like Bad Company 2..

Am I seeing a city in the background? Urban warfare FTW!

Yea, apparently, some of it is set in New York. I also love urban warfare, there aren't any decent games on it!

In New-York? Uh-oh, that's going to generate some controversy lol. Their latest Medal of Honor game almost didn't get released because they originally wanted to call the opposing team the T word lol.

Depending on the coding, I would imagine slightly higher than BC:BF2

GJ with the embedding, can't full screen or enlarge the video at all without visiting the Youtube site so why even bother? (Note I find the default video size to be too small.)

If the YouTube video isn't good enough (720p?!), there is a 1080p video on Fileplanet... but it is 1.8GB lol.
Here's a link BF3 12min Faultline Trailer 1080p.
I really cant wait for this game, I'm torn between buying it for my PC (Will need a new GPU, 8800GTS just won't cut it anymore!) or for my xbox so I can play it with my friends on there. The option I'm considering most is just buying it for both though!
They haven't released any full system specs as of yet however from what the developers have said it will only be on Vista/7, so no DX9 support, it may even have a 64bit option so it can use more than 2GB RAM and you will generally want a quadcore CPU at around 3GHz.
Anyways, I'm going back to playing BFBC2 as I still have some achievements and insignias to get!

Best I can do without the correct [ t a g ] installed for full screen unless the video supports it natively which if you have a look around, some do

http://www.youtube.c...p?v=-FktL2pu2wE

------------------
Instructions full screen links (Can not embed yet)

NORMAL LINK
http://www.youtube.com
/watch?v=-FktL2pu2wE

FULL SCREEN
http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=-FktL2pu2wE

Add _popup between /watch and ?v=-FktL2pu2wE

Obviously change whatever the last part of the code is for the video (ie
-FktL2pu2wE)

OR

NORMAL LINK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FktL2pu2wE

Now remove
watch?v= from the link and replace it with v/

The online play is a definite improvement over bad company 2. Haven't tried the Single player though. There are reports that its tedious.
