I've just installed a fresh Vista Home Premium on my Scaleo E media center running on a FIC motherboard but when i try to apply Vista loader crack on it (any version) the pc runs into endless reboot, when it starts up, it loads vista loader in dos screen, afterwards it just reboots, the action keeps repeating itself endlessly.

The only way to fix it is to use Vista DVD to go to recovery mode and repair using command prompt and bootrec /fixboot command.

But this way it basically eliminates Vista loader all together and you end up with no crack to Vista at all.

Anyone knows why this is happening?
I have a feeling there's something with this FIC motherboard custom made for Scaleo E media pcs that prevents vista loader from working properly. But i can't get my head around it.

Perhaps someone knows more about this issue?

Thanks for the help!

Before modding the BIOS - Try a different activation crack - This one seems the best I have found

http://depositfiles.com/files/362vs1ypx

Run "Setup Complete"

Wait for the PC to restart itself on its own

Password for rar: thehotfix

Why?

if you give me your Motherboard Brand and Model number i can MOD you a BIOS for you, so all you would have to do is just flash it and install the certificate.

Dont worry i modded mine with SLIC and it works perfectly :)

I have an FIC P4M-915GD1 with a Phoenix bios, but seems to be custom made for Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo E media center.
What else do I need to provide you with? Sorry I am pretty noob to all this.

Very strange I have never had that problem - the only message it has ever showed me is "Your PC will shutdown in less than a minute" when it is done cracking it - Not sure what disk its looking for unless the system protection tried to replace the modded cracked files with the originals from the Vista disk - I would just cancel that message of please insert disk and let it finish and restart

I did, and it's still not activated.
I actually tried a dozen of those activators, none of them worked.
I have a feeling it has to do with SLIC and my bios

Download a program called EVEREST, search the internet.

You may need a key to register full program, ill PM you it if you do.

look in this picture to see if your BIOS has SLIC Table embeded in it, If its shown up you already have it, if not you need a moddefied BIOS.

If you do have it look further down at OEM-ID, what does it say? Mine is HPQOEM as in HP Computers.

This time, whatever i do, cancel or try again or continue it won't go away.
Then the program freezes for long time and have to kill it.

You can type this into the "run" command box to reset the 30 day grace period, it only works 3 times so wait until your 30 days is nearly up before using it or you will waste days, not a permanant solution but will buy you a few months to figure out your problem

slmgr -rearm

Found this

How to install Bios Emulation for NON Slic Supported Bios (VistaActivator 2.1.2)?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Automatic installation: (installer modified by Steve Jobs)
-----------------------
1. click on Bios Emulation for NON Slic Supportoed Bios.exe and run it as adminstrator
2. Done!

(it will install the bios emulation, oem certificates, oem key and oem logo for your brand)

Manual installation: (original installer by Binbin)
----------------------------
see VistaLoader Readme.txt (you will need to download VOATK Addon Kit v1.5 with Oem Certs and Slic Tables and place the files into the ''data'' folder)

Looking for that loader for you

Vistaloader 2.1.2
http://rapidshare.com/files/109119578/Vist....1.2_Stable.rar

Edit - Just checked that loader - doesnt seem to have non-slic option

More possibilities

How to install the BIOS emulator (Only for those BIOSs without the SLIC table support!!!)
1. Install Windows Vista WITHOUT a key (if already installed, never mind)

2. unpack the complete folder to a folder, say "C:\vistaloader_2.1.2"

3. go to start > all programs > accessoires and rightclick "Command Prompt" > choose "run as administrator" type "C:\vistaloader_2.1.2\install.cmd".

4. Now REBOOT!

5. go to start > all programs > accessoires and rightclick "Command Prompt" > choose "run as administrator" type: "C:\windows\system32\slmgr -ilc c:\vistaloader_2.1.2\dataoemcert.xrm-ms". (oemcert= you have to choose by yourself which brand you want to use) Wait untill windows pops up with a conformation-message. Be sure to use an UNMODIFIED version of slmgr.

6. now type "C:windowssystem32slmgr -ipk ". Wait untill windows pops up with a conformation-message.

7. now type "C:windowssystem32slmgr -ato Wait untill windows pops up with a conformation-message.

DONE, you're activated!
