I was just wondering for some days....searched the internet but didn't found the answer.....if i plan to install SP 3 do i still have to install kb896256 for multiprocessor support and kb936357 for Intel support before installing SP 3? cause on SP 3 these updates cannot be installed due to error that i have a newer SP. Thanks in advance.

From what I understand, the updates are included with SP3 (or an updated version).

I too run a Core2Duo, and if you don't experience problems in the first place, then there is no need to install the updates anyhow.
